BIBBYOGRAPHY
Dave Bibby is an award-winning comedian, actor, presenter, writer and voice-over artist. (Full disclosure: the awards are for comedy. The rest he’s just very good at.)
He’s appeared on Channel 4’s Eye Spy alongside Stephen Fry, starred in Derren Brown’s The Push (now on Netflix), and was personally hired by Simon Cowell to prank Ant & Dec live on Britain’s Got Talent. No pressure.
On screen, Dave plays Hooper in the feature film Knuckledust, available to buy or rent in the UK, US and beyond — perfect for when you’ve finished Netflix and are questioning your life choices.
A regular on the UK comedy circuit, Dave made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with Nobody Puts Bibby in the Corner at Underbelly, following two sell-out Fringe runs with sketch group Lead Pencil (as seen on Comedy Central, BBC Radio 4 and the Best New Sketch Act Final).
His second solo show, Crazy Cat LAD-y, sold out at the 2019 Fringe and transferred to London’s Underbelly Festival on the Southbank.
His third show, Baby Dinosaur, won the Amused Moose Edinburgh Comedy Award before transferring to Soho Theatre and touring the UK.
This was followed by Hasta La Vista… BIBBY! — a complete sell-out at Edinburgh and a nominee for the 2025 Dave Joke of the Fringe (some guy called Dave).
He’s written for BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack, The Show What You Wrote and Sketchorama, and created online content for brands including O2 and BoyleSports.
As resident comedian on Yahoo Sport, broadcast globally, he interviewed football royalty such as Harry Redknapp, Ray Parlour, Mick McCarthy and Rachel Yankey OBE. Yes, he dined out on that.
Dave has also fronted major TV and print campaigns for Rangemaster, Lebara, Betfair and Walkers. His commercial and comedy reels can be found on the video page.
